Since 1976 Langan’s Brassiere has been serving A-listers from the music and film industry and socialites looking for a traditional, unpretentious dining experience. Langan’s Brassiere is known for a relaxed atmosphere they don’t rush you, rather the hosts leave you to enjoy the ambience as you are taken on a journey in time.
It is funny; Langan’s has been on my dining option list for some time now so I was thrilled to receive an invitation to dine courtesy of ‘Buyagift’.

Langan’s Brassiere Experience
Mayfair is not short of fantastic dining options but not all stand the test of time. Langan’s Brassiere has managed to keep guests fed with the most exquisite gourmet dishes since 1976 this speaks volumes about London’s only iconic brassiere. The décor is modest, distinguished, and eccentric; an assorted range of artwork is displayed on the walls whilst tables are kept elementary, and dishes are creative and developing, yet based on traditional favourites. Langan’s Brassiere is the perfect place for a long business lunch, dinner, and drinks. First impressions are a relaxed and homely feel; the perfect place to spend time with friends over a glass of perfectly chilled Laurent Perrier Champagne.
We were greeted by the host who explained what our ‘Buyagift’ menu options were. We were served customary bread; this got us ready for the 3-course meal ahead. The host then brought out two glasses of Laurent Perrier Champagne – he must have read my mind!
The starter choices were; traditional Caesar Salad, very plentiful and Heritage Tomato and Mozzarella Salad with the most delicious basil dressing. Main choices were Britain’s favourite Cod and Chips and slow-cooked braised lamb shank, Moroccan style couscous and chickpea cassoulet, it literally melted off the bone, but with the most incredible flavours and textures. The sides consisted of fries and honey-glazed carrots were just perfect! One day we might close our eyes when the dessert menu comes around but who can truly resist! The dessert choices were; Raspberry Pavlova, this was heaven on a plate! Plum crumble with custard, there was nothing left! Lastly, we were offered coffee and fresh mint tea before our sad departure.
